Connecting To CCN with a Modem
Chebucto Community Net offers three different ways to connect to
the Internet!

56K unlimited use dialup service can be found here.
Here is the information you will need to use our older Classic text
service. The text service is not a PPP (Point to Point Protocol)
connection and PPP applications such as Internet Explorer cannot use the
Chebucto text service connection. The Chebucto text service is accessed
using a Terminal emulation program such as Windows HyperTerminal.
Each time you dial into our Classic text service, you will get a different
modem. Here are
some tips and suggestions that should
help if you are having problems connecting to Chebucto Community Net.
